The Kazakhstan National ICH Committee would like to announce the annual local festival KOKMAISA-2024, which launches on 29 June place in Ulutau Province. The festival occurs regularly by the local communities and with support of the provincial and local authorities. It includes the varieties of traditional sport games, householding and national products, competition of skills and enjoy of Kazakh traditional dishes. The part of this local festival is inscribed to the UNESCO Representative list in 2018 (https://ich.unesco.org/en/RL/traditional-spring-festive-rites-of-the-kazakh-horse-breeders-01402). Welcome to Ulytau – homeland of Kazakhs.
