Iran will host the Thirteenth Annual Coordination Meeting of the C2Cs Active in the Field of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2025

UNESCO convened the Twelfth Annual Coordination Meeting of the C2Cs Active in the Field of ICH on Thursday, 13 June 2024, at its headquarters in Paris. This meeting followed the 10th General Assembly of the States Parties to UNESCO (11-12 June 2024) and was presided over by the Secretary of the 2003 Convention. During the meeting, the activities report of the Tehran ICH Centre, particularly in climate change and capacity-building, was presented and highly praised. As the host country of the Regional Research Centre for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage in West and Central Asia under the auspices of UNESCO (Tehran ICH Centre), Iran was selected by the participants to the 12th Annual coordination meeting and the Secretariat of the 2003 Convention to host the 13th annual meeting of the C2Cs active in the field of ICH (CRESPIAF, CRESPIAL, IRCI, ICHCAP, CRIHAP, SOFIA CENTER,  SHARJAH CENTRE and the Tehran ICH Centre).
